The town centre is already abuzz with activity, with the opening of the Everyone Active leisure centre, the local hub; The Shed and its dedicated performance space, The Cube and Ticket outdoor cinema, set in front of a stunning art installation on the Sandhurst Block.
Upcoming additions include a new food store and health hub, as well as ‘The Mess Hall’ an entertainment and retail space adjacent to the Town Park on the former Sergeants Mess site. Expect fresh shops, cafes, office spaces, and charming squares—making the town centre not just a place to shop and dine but a welcoming space to meet and unwind.
A new Town Park has been built in the town centre that wraps around The Shed. This area acts as a focal point for people to sit back, meet with friends and relax.
There are plenty of car parks to use in and around the development.
The drive-in cinema is situated in the heart of the town in front of the Sandhurst Block, the former main battalion building.
