Budds Lane Skatepark is a fantastic new facility for young people.
In July 2017, a new state of the art skatepark replacing a previous facility, was officially opened with the help of team GB Olympian and World and European BMX champion Liam Philips and Mayor Councillor Colin Leech. The new park is situated at the eastern corner of the junction of Oakhanger Road, Station Road and Budds Lane, and is a central point in the development.
The park offers a range of activities to skaters of all abilities, from grind ledges to a 6 ft high mini-ramp.
There are no set opening hours for the park which is being run by Whitehill Town Council.
