Affordable homes

Across the site, 15% affordable housing will be provided by Registered Social Landlords in each parcel of land. 40% will be Shared Ownership and 60% Affordable Rent.

Affordable homes for rent can be allocated to those on the Council’s Housing Register at a reduced percentage of the open market rent, to make them ‘affordable’.

Shared ownership homes will enable purchasers to buy a proportion of a new home – anywhere between 25-75%, then pay rent on the remaining share.
