Whitehill & Bordon Community Question Time, 6th July
The Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company (WBRC) will be hosting the next of its regular community question time events on 6th July at The Phoenix Theatre.
The Question Time General Update is an opportunity for WBRC to update the local Whitehill & Bordon community on the latest progress with the Prince Philip Park regeneration project, and for local residents to gain answers to their most pressing questions.
It comes at a time when there is lots of exciting news around the regeneration project, including approval of planning permission for the first phase of Town Centre development, including Morrisons supermarket, and the announcement that the town’s Greenloop Wayfinding Project has won the award for Best Use of Arts, Culture, or Sport in Placemaking at the prestigious Planning Awards 2022.
The event will be held on Wednesday 6th July, 6pm-7:30pm, at The Phoenix Theatre, Station Road, Whitehill & Bordon, GU35 0LR.
Included in the agenda for the meeting will be:
- A presentation from SiGNAL about the increasing opportunities for business, careers, and jobs in Whitehill & Bordon.
- Information on the next careers fayre following the great success of April’s event at The Shed.
- General progress update including information and timelines for the Mess Hall, Morrisons and Asmodee.
- Information about all of the great upcoming events and activities in and around Prince Philip Park.
James Child, Project Lead at The Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company, says:
“We’re looking forward to seeing as many people as possible on 6th July – there has been some exciting progress since the last question time event so there is lots of important stuff to discuss. There will also be a presentation from SiGNAL which we’re excited about because the town is becoming a vibrant business hub for the region and there are so many opportunities on their way.
“And before you ask, yes, I can confirm that there will be a microphone this time around!”
