The Virtual London Marathon comes to Bordon!
On Sunday 3rd October seven runners from local running group Runnyhoneys were among 24,000 people from more than 100 countries to participate in the Virtual London Marathon, alongside the 40,000 in the city.
We were well supported on the day by family, friends and some fellow runners who accompanied us for part of the 26.2 mile route that took us around Hogmoor Inclosure, Bordon and Lindford. Our runners raised nearly £2000 for charities and we are proud to help support Bushy Leaze Children & Families Centre in Alton, the Alzheimers’ Society and the WBCT.

We would like to say a huge ‘Thank you’ to Whitehill and Bordon Community Trust for allowing us the use of The Beehive which proved to be the ideal base for both the runners and their supporters.
Runnyhoneys started it’s Bordon group in 2017 as part of the ‘Spring into Health’ Festival.
Since then, we have introduced over 30 people to running through Couch to 5k courses and we continue to support runners through the week with group runs and a runners circuits session. New beginners course starting soon. Please email [email protected] for more information or visit the website by clicking the link below.
