Qualified celebrant appointed at BOSC
Naomi Metcalfe has achieved an authorised civil celebrant diploma, and is now able to perform wedding ceremonies, funerals, baby naming, civil partnerships, and vow renewals at the Bordon and Oakhanger Sports Club (BOSC).
Celebrants are independent individuals trained in creating tailored ceremonies. Ceremonies presided over by a celebrant are not legally binding, but allow couples and families to personalise their celebration.
Naomi said:
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to be a part of the special day of couples and families, and to be able to offer this service to the local community. BOSC pavilion is an ideal venue to have a wedding, and will enhance any special occasion. The venue is so versatile: couples favouring an outdoor ceremony can choose to have their celebration performed on the outside terraces, and the indoor Function Room is an ideal place to host an event, whatever the weather.
“I feel privileged to be part of the couple’s special day, and look forward to officiating my first wedding this year.”
Choosing a celebrant for your ceremony allows you to create a bespoke ceremony, tailored to you, your partner, and your guests.
Couples are not bound by the rules that a registrar must adhere to, which is an appealing option for those wishing to have a completely unique ceremony.
