New wayfinding for the Green Loop
As you may have seen, refreshing and striking features continue to be installed along the Green Loop in Whitehill & Bordon to help with navigating around the town.
The items comprise of colourful and eye-catching blocks, benches and totems, all decorated in heathland colours, in keeping with Whitehill & Bordon’s natural surroundings.
The project is being delivered in partnership by East Hampshire District Council, Hampshire County Council, landowners and Urban Place Lab, using money awarded from the EM3 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).
Local businesses have played a key part in producing and installing these features, helping to guide residents in whatever direction they go.
The Green Loop, formerly known as Green Grid Loop, aims to encourage residents to stay in good health. We are making it easier to travel into and around the town on a seven-kilometre network of pedestrian and cycle paths.
Over the summer keep an eye on our social media to take part in our exciting competitions, votes and campaigns.
In the autumn, there will be a chance to work with us on the next part of this project to develop some ‘Diamond Moments’ on the Green Loop. Stay tuned to find out more and have your say.
