Bean and Gone Announced as New Operator at Hogmoor Inclosure Cafe
The Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company is thrilled to announce that Bean and Gone, a beloved local coffee van, has successfully entered into contract to run the café at Hogmoor Inclosure after a competitive process. This exciting development marks a significant milestone in the ongoing enhancement of the Whitehill and Bordon area.
Bean and Gone have been a part of our community, regularly seen outside of BASE Innovation Centre, are known for excellent coffee, and welcoming atmosphere. Their commitment to quality and community engagement makes them an ideal fit for Hogmoor Inclosure, one of the areas most popular free to access green spaces.
“We are delighted to welcome Bean and Gone as the new operators of the café at Hogmoor Inclosure,” said James Child, Project Lead of the Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company. “Their presence will uphold the great legacy the café has built and will further enhance the visitor experience at Hogmoor. As a growing business, we are excited to see Bean and Gone develop within the business community we are cultivating here in Whitehill and Bordon.”
As part of the development plans for the area, Hogmoor Inclosure café plays a vital role in creating a vibrant, welcoming space for both residents and visitors. Bean and Gone’s success in securing this tender reflects their reputation, commitment, and the positive impact they have already had on the local community.
“We are incredibly excited about this opportunity,” said Nick Rawbin, owner of Bean and Gone. “Hogmoor Inclosure is a beautiful location, and we look forward to serving our customers in this stunning setting. We are committed to making a positive contribution to the ongoing development of Whitehill and Bordon and to providing a space where people can come together, relax, and enjoy great food and drink.”
Bean and Gone’s occupation at Hogmoor Inclosure is expected to open in October following a brief refit period and staff training on new processes.
The café will feature a diverse menu, including locally sourced produce, freshly baked goods, and, of course, their signature coffee. With these offerings, Bean and Gone aims to create a welcoming space where visitors can enjoy the best of what our local area has to offer.
The Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company is dedicated to fostering local businesses and creating opportunities for them to thrive. The partnership with Bean and Gone is a testament to this commitment and to the vibrant future envisioned for the Whitehill and Bordon area.
WBRC, on behalf of the local community, would like to thank the Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust for all their hard work in building this fantastic venue. They will remain in charge of the Beehive and will continue to offer their craft markets, community workshops and events.
