The Bordon and Oakhanger Sports Club (BOSC) is the place to be for sports, food and special occasions.
For fun, health and fitness, choose from football, tennis, cricket and pétanque as well as a children’s playground. All this, and dog friendly too. The BOSC Clubroom is a relaxing venue for a delicious bite to eat, drinks at the bar or to enjoy one of the events, from jazz night to wine tasting.

Having a wedding during Covid was never going to be ideal, but having the amazing location at the BOSC made our day unforgettable. The BOSC itself is stunning, the outlook from the balcony with the cricket pitch in the background and woodland just beyond was spectacular. And the ease of having the park next to the Bosc so our guests could relax while their children were playing was such a bonus.
Having our ceremony on the balcony was perfect for our special day and being able to decorate it as we wanted was brilliant. The function room provided plenty of space for guests and staff during Covid times ensuring our day was still perfect. Chermain was very helpful in working with us to plan our special day, rearranging it due to Covid whilst taking away the pre-wedding stresses that came hand in hand. And on the day, Chermain, Katie and her team made sure our day ran smoothly and was stress-free so that we, and our guests, felt relaxed while enjoying the day. Thank you to all the team for helping make our day so special.

We looked at various venues but none of them came close to the BOSC in our opinion. It’s a charming building in a very quiet location surrounded by beautiful grounds and from the first point of contact we were made to feel like nothing was too much trouble. We were married on the balcony and had our reception in the upstairs function room. The kitchen staff created an amazing wedding breakfast to our specification, the food tasted amazing and again nothing was too much trouble. The evening disco was provided by “Disco Darren” what a great guy! We gave him our requirements and he got them spot on! Definitely recommend his services! The facilities were spotless.
The events organiser Chermain was superb from day one and couldn’t do enough for us, especially in light of the fact we had to postpone and reschedule three times due to Covid. Each and every hurdle we faced Chermain provided a very quick solution. She also worked tirelessly the day prior to our wedding to help with decorating the venue and then again on the day of our wedding, from beginning to end.
Our hostess Katie was also amazing, very down to earth, up for a laugh and all round lovely woman. She, along with the other staff were relaxed, friendly and always on hand.
Everyone involved in our wedding went above and beyond and we are truly grateful for all of their efforts. Our wedding day was exactly how we wanted it and this is due to the BOSC having a can do attitude matched with great staff. We would highly recommend the BOSC. Thank you so much to everyone involved.
