Festive business networking and help from SiGNAL
The SiGNAL business owners’ community is called The SiGNAL BiZHUB for short. We are a fast
growing, fast paced and well connected business group with membership of over 70 active
businesses locally. We offer networking events and business training as well as social events.

Nigel Matthews, Board Games Millionaire and CEO of Gamesquest was our speaker at the SiGNAL
BiZHUB in October and gave an insightful talk on selling, along with lots of tips! Top takeaways from
Nigel:
- Delegation is key – only do the jobs you do best
- That should include selling yourself and what you do
- If you aren’t confident in articulating, pitching and presenting it’s a good idea to learn the
skill at a group like Toastmasters.

If you would like to meet new business owners and listen to talks by great people like Nigel each
month please come along! We currently put on one event per month at the BOSC – our local sports
and conference club.
Guests are always welcome at the SIGNAL BiZHUB so come along and try a free first visit.
Attendees have plenty of opportunities to get to know each other and also receive a contact list of
all businesses in the room with email addresses for their reference.
Christmas Socials
At SiGNAL we hold a members’ drinks evening once a month – no networking (really) just a relaxed
social. Partners and friends welcome! Currently we are holding these at the Royal Exchange in
Lindford. As it’s Christmas, this month we are following the drinks with a full Christmas Dinner – all
members, suppliers and clients welcome– limited availability so book quickly if you’d like a seat at
the table!
