Fawlty Towers cabaret dining comes to Whitehill & Bordon
The notorious dining room at the Fawlty Towers Hotel is opening its doors to the public for a night of cabaret dining like no other at The Bordon & Oakhanger Sports Club (BOSC) on Friday 10 May, 7pm – 9:30pm.
This is timely, given Fawlty Towers was this week named the greatest ever British TV sitcom by a panel of comedy experts compiled by the Radio Times, above Father Ted and I’m Alan Partridge.
Fawlty Towers Gourmet Night is the only dining show that pays royalties and is fully endorsed by actor John Cleese, who played the main character Basil Fawlty in the TV series.
The evening gives fans an opportunity to reacquaint themselves with the much-loved characters and Basil’s memorable one-liners, through immersive theatre and deliciously themed food and drink.
Samuel Metcalfe, Manager, BOSC, said:
“We are delighted to be able to bring this fantastic dining experience to the residents of Whitehill & Bordon, as a join event with The Phoenix Theatre & Arts Centre. Whilst fans of the TV show will be able to enjoy a trip down memory lane, it is also a fun and entertaining night out for those who have not seen it before. Something for the older and younger generations to enjoy.”
Tickets for Fawlty Towers Gourmet Night cost £49.50 and must be pre-booked in advance. To book call 01420 472 664 or visit www.phoenixarts.co.uk/event/fawlty-towers-gourmet-night
