Community Trust

Community is at the heart of the transformation of Whitehill & Bordon.

For the community. From the community.

The Whitehill & Bordon Community Trust is an established organisation working in partnership with residents, local authorities and community organisations to enhance the growing community. The Trust create and manage events and places for people that support active, healthy and social lifestyles promoting pride of place.

They do this by bringing people together to set the community’s vision for the town and through working in partnership with the Town and District Councils and the developers of the regeneration programme.

Since 2019 they have delivered events and projects for the whole community, many aimed at the younger generation. Two small Orchards, Savile Crescent and Jubilee Park have been planted.

As well as smaller events they have been partners in the delivery of larger town events, such as Secrets of the Heath and Charity Walk for Peace.

Working closely with Whitehill Town Council (WTC) they have now taken on the management of a Community Polytunnel, which was funded by Healthy New Town, owned by WTC and situated next to Building 94.

Building 94 is a dedicated Youth Centre that is managed by the Trust. This building has provided a home for the local scout group and a much-needed Youth Club. Through the providers of the Youth Club, WBCT have funded a regular Youth outreach program.

The Community Trust now manage and run the community buildings which are located in Hogmoor Inclosure. Café Hogmoor is a popular place to have a snack and meet up. The Beehive Activity Room is a great space for children’s classes and more. Both of these are located near the WC which includes a changing places facility.
