The population of Whitehill & Bordon is dramatically increasing following the withdrawal of the MOD with approximately 4,000 new homes planned over the next ten years.

Whitehill & Bordon Enterprise Park, formerly Prince Philip Barracks, was home to DSEME – the Defence School of Electronic and Mechanical Engineering (Bordon), 10 Training Battalion REME (Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers), and the HQ of 104 FS (Force Support) Battalion REME. The former barracks still contains a number of buildings, large training areas, Single Living Accommodation and recreational facilities which are ideal for commercial premises.

The site is situated on the B3002, Budds Lane, off the A325 which in turn runs into the A3 in the south and the A31 in the north. The estate is accessed via a security gate house and sits behind a fully secured perimeter fence. A Tesco supermarket is within easy access as are a range of local shopping facilities and other local amenities.

The A325 links in with the A3(M) to the south giving access to the south coast and to the north, via the Hindhead tunnel, the A3 links in with the National Motorway network. The opening of the Hindhead Tunnel has significantly improved journey times along the A3 trunk route between London/Guildford and the M25 to Portsmouth and the South Coast. Farnham is some 8 miles to the North, enabling access via the Blackwater relief road to the M3 at Junction 4.
