13 new tenants for The Shed as mezzanine opens for business
The Shed in Whitehill & Bordon is welcoming 13 new business tenants into its fold as the mezzanine level, which overlooks the already popular food hall, officially opens.
The Shed is a unique covered food and retail hall in the centre of Prince Philip Park – a major regeneration site in the heart of Whitehill & Bordon, Hampshire. The new business tenants are moving into SiGNAL @ The Shed, made up of 13 individual office units which have been fitted on the recently completed mezzanine level, overlooking the cafes, food outlets, bar and theatre on the ground floor.
The fit out was carried out by local design and build company, Parogon, who worked to bring the project to completion within just eight weeks. The units are sophisticated and minimalist with sheer glass walls against an iron balustrade.
Upon completion, all 13 units were leased to local business networking, training, and services provider, SiGNAL, who have gone on to sublet the spaces to a series of small businesses.
Every unit has been snapped up and the new tenants have already started moving in. An official launch party will take place in January.
Included among the new business tenants are an estate agent, a brain scanning company, an engineering firm, and a film production company.
These new office premises are another valuable asset for what has become a thriving small business community in Prince Philip Park and the wider Whitehill & Bordon area.
The Whitehill & Bordon Regeneration Company (WBRC), which oversees the regeneration project, has pledged to create one local job for every new home built. All efforts towards facilitating and supporting the emergence of small businesses is a significant part of fulfilling this promise and creating a legacy of opportunity and aspiration for generations to come.
