There is so much going in Whitehill & Bordon this June and July. Here are ten of our favourite highlights.
Pétanque (aka Boulé) is a classic French street game that now has a home in Whitehill & Bordon.
Similar to garden bowls, the aim is to throw metal balls closest to the jack, but rather than rolling the balls on grass, you launch them into sand or gravel. It’s great fun for all the family and is open throughout the summer!
You’ll find the Bordon Pétanque Club at The BOSC.
Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month between 10am -2pm, The Shed hosts Whitehill & Bordon’s favourite market where vendors are selling everything from jewellery to gin.
The market is a great place to check out the amazing produce on offer from local businesses and the stalls vary from week to week so there’s already something fresh and exciting to discover.
- Enjoy the great outdoors
In Whitehill & Bordon, we’re lucky to be surrounded by wonderful countryside. The Hogmoor Inclosure and Bordon Inclosure are places of tranquil beauty and packed full of possibility for all the family this summer.
Play parks, zip lines, sculptures, walking and biking trails, and so much more – it’s all available surrounded by glorious woodlands packed full of local wildlife.
Whether you’re running, birdwatching or picnicking, don’t forget to make the most of our stunning surroundings this summer.
Hogmoor Distillery is a family-run gin and rum maker in Whitehill & Bordon. The Distillery opens its doors every Friday evening for people to come along and enjoy a few drinks at the bar.
But for a truly unforgettable experience, why not sign you and your friends or family up for a private gin making session with the distillery’s master gin makers? Try your hand at all of the distilling processes, and get your creative juices flowing by creating your very own flavoured gin.

@The Cube in The Shed is gearing up to host a brand new music talent show for Whitehill & Bordon.
Local musicians and performers from the local area have been submitting auditions to be part of the show where they’ll perform for a panel of music industry experts and their adoring fans in the crowd.
Get down to The Shed for 7pm and show your support for all of the amazing local musicians.
On Thursday 29th June, three acclaimed musicians present a fresh, contemporary folk music born of their diverse roots. Punk fiddle meets jazz bass and Balkan guitar, in a colourful mix of the traditional and the original. Their debut LP was released in October 2022 on Penny Fiddle Records, and was recorded live to tape.
Due to the resounding success of Whitehill & Bordon’s very first Night at The Proms event last year, the Alton Concert Orchestra are back to delight us again with another evening of music.
‘Summer Serenade’ is set to bring a stunning repertoire of classical masterpieces from stage and screen, as well as the sing-along favourites we couldn’t do without.
Bring your picnics and blankets and listen to the music echoing around the beautiful Town Park at The Shed in the summer evening sunshine.

Summer is a great time of the year to get active and get in shape, and down at Mercer’s Gym everyone from kids and mums to professional fighters are getting stuck into boxing and martial arts.
It all happens under the watchful eye of gym owner Pete Mercer. Absolutely everyone is welcome and your first session is FREE so there really is nothing to lose.
For all of its events and offerings, The BOSC is first and foremost a cricket pavilion and throughout the summer Headley Cricket Club will be playing their home fixtures on the picture-perfect lawns.
Everyone is welcome to try out for the mens, ladies, and kids teams, but if watching is more your thing, get down and enjoy a tipple and an ice cream while lounging in the sun to the sound of leather on willow.
